Dear Brethren,

I want to thank each of you for your offerings, prayers and faithfulness in supporting the mission work here.  They are blessings without which the work would be greatly hampered.  So,. I don't want you to think that we have forgotten all of you.  The work here is beginning to develop and mature.  We have several possibilities and that is what I want to share with you.
Colombia continues peace talks

Most of you are aware of the situation here in Colombia.  The Peace Negotions are again moving forward and everyone prays that there will be positive results.  While this is most encouraging, we continue to maintain a low profile and are not able to move freely.  This is one of the principal reasons we are making alternative plans for the continuance of the work here in Villavicencio.

Good news from Cucuta
Bro. Javier Gelvis from Cucuta is here in Villavicencio to look into the possibilities of helping the mission.  He is a young minister who is presently working with Bro. Torrado in Cucuta.  He has served as a pastor  and a missionary for several years in different areas of Colombia, especially in  Arauca, Casanare.

The Seminary is off
to a great start

We are gearing up to begin Internet Bible Classes

Everything is basically set for those that want to study via internet.  Here are the steps to follow if you want to study.

  • You need to download MSN Messenger and Netmeeting from the internet.
  • Then get a e-mail address.
  • Add to your messenger service
  • Email us your hotmail email address
  • We will put you on our MSN Messenger service.
At this time, schedules are still being updated.  Saturdays are good days for study but the use of internet, especially on Saturdays, are extreemly heavy.  The other alternative might be early in the mornings (6:00 - 7:00) Colombian time.
