Dear Brethren
Answered
Prayers:
It
is very evident that the Lord is blessing the work here in Ecuador. Our
prayer is that we respond to His leadership according to His Will.Let
me bring you up to date on the work.Sufficient
has been the manifestation that
Our
prayers for an Ecuadorian Mission Helper are being answered.
Bro.
Galo Tejado, an Ecuadorian minister is now a part of our mission team.
Bro.
Galo and his family have been praying for the Lord to lead them to where
they could work with a Scriptural New Testament Church. They believe, as
do we, that their prayers are being answered through our ministry and the
Westwood Missionary Baptist Church. Such has been the manifestation that
Lord is leading and opening these doors, that we have already provisionally
included him and his family in our Latin American Ministries Team.Of course
it is wise to be prudent, giving time for the Lord to show us the way that
He is directing. So, while we are
moving ahead rapidly, we are never-the-less, constantly making ourselves
available to His Leadership.
Bro.
Galo is well prepared but submissive.
While
Bro. Galo is well prepared for the work,he
is willing to serve.However, that
which is outstanding and important, is hissubmissiveness
to the Lord.(NOTE: I am reminded
of Apolo). We will baptize him, (although all indications are that his
baptism is scriptural but utilizing prudence, it is sometimes better to
be safe than later sorry) as well as teach him more perfectly in the
ways of the Lord and His Church. After
his baptism, we will then ordain him
Not
only is Bro. Galo a prepared worker, he is also a very able Bible teacher,
experienced Pastor and Missionary.
With
plans to put a complete, Bible based Seminary and Institute, we believe
that this brother will prove to be a great asset to the Lord’s work as
well as our Latin American Ministries outreach.
Sis. Rosa Tejado
is a qualified pre-school teacher and is licensed by the Ecuadorian Ministry
of Education.
vPart
of the mission work that we want to accomplish is a Christian School. One
that will provide a solid Christian education to the Ecuadorian people
as well as help in our evangelistic outreach.
Also,
Sis. Rosa’s teaching ability will provide the mission with trained Sunday
School teacher’s, something that a new mission work lacks and usually suffers
from as a result.
Please
continue to pray for the work and share with us as the Lord leads.Your
participation is very needed and important. We
want to thank you for all that you are doing do help us in this ministry
to the Latin Americans.May the Lord
richly bless you.Happy Easter.
Love
